URGENT: 2013 Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Health System (PRIHS) Competition

PRIHS is a partnered research funding opportunity between AIHS and Alberta Health Services (AHS) with the aim of improving health outcomes for patients across Alberta.  This is the first competition offered under the PRIHS Fund.

This opportunity supports networks of health researchers and clinical practitioners across the continuum of care, with an emphasis on population health and community and primary care, that can reassess technologies, services and/or processes within the health system and identify sustainable solutions to improve the overall quality of care and value for money in Alberta’s health system.

PRIHS targets high impact research activities within the AHS Strategic Clinical Networks (SCNs) and Operational Clinical Networks (OCNs) that align with the priorities identified in Alberta’s Health Research and Innovation Strategy (AHRIS) and the AHS Health Plan.
