Brain and Early Childhood Development Research and Knowledge Translation Initiative
The Norlien Foundation, Alberta Family Wellness Initiative (AFWI), and the Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research (ACCFCR) are collaborating to support research and knowledge translation in the interdisciplinary area of brain and early childhood development. At the outset, AFWI and ACCFCR will support seed grants to catalyze new collaborative research initiatives, build capacity and support the development of innovative ideas that aim to contribute to breakthrough health and wellness outcomes for children and families. The seed grant funding opportunity is open to teams led by Alberta-based researchers. Letters of intent are due by October 1, 2013.
