Seeking Volunteers: National Emergency Nurses Association (NENA) Conference
The National Emergency Nurses Association (NENA) Conference planning committee is seeking nursing students (RN, RPN, LPN) who are interested in volunteering at the conference. This is a great opportunity to network with registered nurses and related health care professionals from across the country. There may also be opportunities to attend conference sessions, and a certificate of volunteer hours can be provided at request.
If you are interested in attending the conference, there is a special discount rate for students to attend. Conference information is available HERE.
If emergency/trauma nursing interests you, or you would like the opportunity to volunteer, please contact Navkiran Tiwana at email@example.com for more information.
Nominations Open for 2015-16 Killam Annual Professorships
Applications are now being accepted for the 2015-2016 Killam Annual Professorships.
Although the process is one of self-nomination, your Faculty Evaluation Committee may want to consider encouraging a diversity of faculty members to apply. It is the intention that these professorships are accessible to relatively new and junior staff members, as well as those who are more established academics. In the past there has been an imbalance in the gender distribution of applications, and we encourage a diversity of applications from all qualified women and men, including persons with disabilities, members of visible minorities, and Aboriginal persons.
For complete information on the terms of reference and application procedure as well as the application form for the 2015-2016 Killam Annual Professorships, please click HERE.
The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, February 13, 2015 at 4:30 p.m.
