Signature Requirements By Research Service Office (RSO)

University policy requires that U of A Principal Investigators (PI), Co-PIs and also Co-Investigators fill in the signature page generated by requesting New Application/Proposal/Project form . Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Small Grants

Information: Applications from novice researchers who have received no other national research funds are encouraged and will receive preference for funding, other aspects being equal. Preference will be given to Sigma Theta Tau members, other qualifications being equal. Annual funding is provided by Sigma Theta Tau International Foundation for Nursing. CIHR- IPPH Trailblazer Award

Information: This is a career achievement award that recognizes exceptional contributions in the area of population and public health research. Applicants must have made substantial impacts on the field of population health and its use in policy and/or practice in Canada and/or internationally. The award also recognizes the leadership, mentorship, and innovative contributions of the recipients. Up to three awards will be given, for exceptional researchers at different career stages. CIHR-Catalyst Grant : Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis

Information: This Catalyst Grant is being offered to support the development of new, high priority research projects in the CIHR-Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (CIHR-IMHA) mandated areas of arthritis, bone, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, muscle, oral health, skin, and in the cross-disciplinary area of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). It is expected that this investment will enable researchers to generate preliminary data, validate methodology or tools, and/or explore novel research ideas towards enhancing the success of subsequent applications to the CIHR investigator-initiated and institute-specific initiatives in areas of strategic interest to CIHR-IMHA.
