Maurice and Edna Marie Minton Endowment Fund for Cancer Nursing Research

Through a generous donation from the late Mr. Maurice C. Minton, the establishment of The Maurice and Edna Marie Minton Endowment Fund for Cancer Nursing Research(Minton Endowment Fund) was made possible. The intent of the endowment is to enhance the quality and quantity of cancer nursing research for the purpose of improving cancer nursing practice and patient care. This can be achieved by increasing the number of nursing research projects directly related to cancer nursing practice through the funding of research projects. Only faculty is eligible to apply.  To know more read the guidelines.

CFN- 2017 Summer Student Awards Program New!

Information: Canadian Frailty Network is providing up to 10 awards of up to $4,000 each, which must be matched by at least 100% funding guaranteed by the student’s supervisor, with all funds to be used for student salary and benefits only. Each student award covers up to 14 weeks of full-time participation from May 15 to August 17, 2017. For more information, click here

Alberta-Saskatchewan Research Collaboration Grant 2017 New!

Information: The Kule Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Culture and Creativity (ICCC) announce a joint research team building grant opportunity for teams at both the University of Alberta and the University of Saskatchewan. CIHR: Health System Impact Fellowships – New Post-Doctoral Fellowships

Information: The Health System Impact Fellowship is targeted to PhD graduates (post-docs) who are interested in applying their research and analytic talents to critical challenges faced by health system and related organizations outside of the traditional scholarly setting, and who want to benefit from professional work experience, mentorship from health system and academic leaders, and professional development training in an expanded set of competencies (e.g., leadership, negotiation, project management, change management) designed to accelerate professional growth.
