Killam Research Fellowships competition New!

Information: Open to all disciplines, Fellowships provide two years of release time from teaching and administrative duties to established scholars who have demonstrated outstanding research ability and who have published their research results in substantial publications in their field. Monday, April 10—for applicants who requested review, this is the date to submit draft applications (particularly the one-page project summary and the 6-page detailed project description) to

Monday, April 24—internal review to be completed; VPR office will forward feedback to applicants for revision. Applicants will then work with their RFs to finalize the application and submit  it to the Canada Council by May 15

Important Announcements

Change in Research Portfolio Office Personnel:  
Connie Winther, our Project Management and Operations lead will be taking a new position at Alberta Health Services starting March 19, 2107.  Her last day with us will be March 15, 2017. Connie has contributed significantly to the work of the Research Portfolio Office  in the short time she has been with us.  If you have a chance please feel free to drop by her office (5-170) to wish her all the best with her new position.
Carla Ickert has agreed to work part time as Project Management and Operations lead until we have hired a new person. Thanks so much Carla.
