Research and Training Scholarships

The American Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Foundation (AAOGF) is offering a scholarship award to be used by an academic member within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The award is intended to provide research training and experience for a candidate who exhibits significant talent, original thought and evidence of dedication to an academic career.

Research training may be either laboratory-based or clinical, and focus on basic or translational research, disease pathogenesis, diagnostics, interventions or epidemiology.

ESCN/SHSCN Masters Studentship

This competition is jointly funded by the Seniors Health SCN and the Emergency SCN and will support a highly qualified Master’s level student in any discipline conducting research related to older persons’ emergency medicine care or experiences.

Funding is available to support one student in the second year of their graduate program, from September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2018.

Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships Program

Information: The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships Program is distinguished from existing postdoctoral fellowships programs by its emphasis on the synergy between an applicant’s individual merit and potential to launch a successful research-intensive career and the host institution’s commitment to the research program and environment with which the applicant is to be affiliated.
